  • Our process for ordering a wedding cake is simple!

    1. If you haven’t already tried our cakes and cupcakes, we recommend that you order a cake tasting box. We offer tasting boxes every couple of months with popular flavor combinations from our menu. We offer these for local pick-up in Livermore, CA. If you have tried our cake flavors before and already have an idea of what you would like to order, skip to step 2.

    2. Fill out our wedding inquiry form. Please note this submission does not secure your date. In 24-72 hours, we will get back to you to start discussing the details for your wedding desserts.

    3. Receive your quote. After your consultation, we will send you an estimate for your order. Once that quote is approved, we will email you a Wedding Cake Contract for you to approve and sign. We will then send you an invoice to pay your deposit.

    4. Save the Date & Payment Policy: Wedding events require a signed contract and $100 non-refundable deposit to secure the date. This deposit goes toward final cost. Remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the event or your order will be cancelled. You are welcome to pay your final balance earlier for peace of mind or if it fits your schedule better.

    We understand you may need to make adjustments to your order as your wedding date nears, especially when it comes to your wedding guest serving count. We allow you the opportunity to make any adjustments to your order before your final payment is due (30 days prior to your event date). After your final payment, if changes are required, we cannot guarantee than we can honor certain changes and additional payment may be required.

  • For our wedding orders, we offer delivery and setup. “Delivery & Setup” means that we will deliver your cake (& other treats if applicable) and set up at your dedicated cake stand/area. We do not offer cake slicing and serving. If you need this service, please check with your caterer.

    For weddings, we offer delivery throughout the Tri-Valley (Livermore, Pleasanton, Dublin) and the surrounding areas. The delivery fee is based on travel time to and from our bakery to the location of your venue. The total amount is included in your estimate & invoice.

    We ask that you provide us with a contact person who will be present at the venue when we deliver and setup to confirm your cake (and other treats if applicable) are in satisfactory condition. This can be either your wedding planner or the venue coordinator. If it is a smaller wedding, a friend or family may also be this contact person if they are available.

  • Please understand that a lot goes into planning your special wedding cake. While cancellations are unfortunate and difficult, we keep to this policy because when you secure the date with us, we will not be able to book another wedding cake to replace your cancelled order.

    • The deposit payment is non-refundable. Should the Customer decide to cancel their order at any time, they will forfeit their deposit payment.

    • Cancellations made prior to 14 days before the event date will receive their payment refunded, minus the deposit, payment processing fees, or any expenses for any special ingredients or items purchased or made specifically for your order. If issued, the refund will be credited to your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If possible, we will provide an estimate of how long the refund will take to occur.

    • If the event has been rescheduled or postponed, the Customer must notify Squares via email of the change in the date of the event. Squares will try to accommodate your schedule change and requests a 14 day notice to do so. Failure to notify Squares will result in a change of date fee.
