We book on a month-to-month basis — order forms for new months will open on the first of the previous month. Larger orders (ex. tiered cakes or 4+ dozen cupcakes) may be booked in advance. We are open for pick-ups Wednesday through Saturday. For cakes needed Sunday through Tuesday, please book for the Saturday prior. Cakes will last 5 days in the fridge if uncut. Delivery is only available on weekends for tiered cakes depending on availability and location.

For our cakes, it is recommended to order at least 1-2 weeks in advance. A minimum of one week’s notice is required for custom cakes. We will try to accommodate any order placed closer to your event date, but there is no guarantee. Orders placed within less than a week of pick-up or paid for within less than a week of pick-up will be assessed a $25.00-$50.00 rush fee.

Each custom order is priced individually based on the size of the cake, cake flavor & fillings, design details, and level of intricacy.

Our starting prices are included on our menu. The starting price includes standard cake flavors and fillings, vintage piping or a floral design, and an optional message piped in buttercream.

Cakes with more detailed decoration have higher starting prices due to the intricacy of the work. Detailed decoration includes more intricate vintage piping, buttercream florals in addition to vintage piping, beaded designs, and more.

Decorative elements such as sugar pearls, bows, edible butterflies, edible glitter, gold painting, chocolate decorations and lettering, etc. will add additional charges to the order.

Cakes decorated with flavored buttercream (ex. chocolate buttercream exterior) or extra pigmented colors (ex. black, navy blue, royal blue, reds, burgundy, etc.) will also incur additional charges of $5-15, depending on size of cake.

After submitting your inquiry, we will contact you within 24 - 48 hours via email to confirm your order, provide a quote, and to send an invoice.

Please note that submitting an inquiry form and communication does not guarantee a reservation. Full payments must be made within 48 hours of receiving your quote to confirm your order date. Orders are not confirmed or scheduled for production until payment has been received in full.

If we have not received payment from you within 48 hours, we will assume you no longer require the order and requested date. This means that your requested date will be made available again and will be booked by the first to pay for confirmation.

Once your order is confirmed and paid for, there will be no changes to the design or flavor. Please read our full Terms and Conditions before submitting your inquiry.

Contactless porch pick-up is in Livermore, 94550. Exact address will be provided after your order is confirmed and paid in full. Delivery is only available on weekends for tiered cakes or for orders over $200.00. Delivery starts at $45.00.

You will receive a pick-up reminder the day before your pick-up with your pick-up time and address.

If you are unable to pick-up your order in the agreed upon time slot, please contact info@squaresbakes.com ASAP to arrange a different pick-up time.

The sooner you reach out to us, the easier it will be for us to arrange a time to get your treats to you. We understand plans may change and strive to resolve these issues to the best of our ability.

Please only show up during your agreed upon pick-up window. We allow a 15 minute grace period after your scheduled window. If you will not be able to make your pick-up window or the grace period, please contact us via email (info@squaresbakes.com) to reschedule your pick-up. Otherwise, your order will not be ready.

Once the cake is picked up, we are no longer responsible. Please ensure you follow the transportation and storage guidelines that are sent to you before pickup.

Please inform us of any allergens or intolerances you have.

We do not bake in an allergen-free environment. All of our products are baked in an environment where wheat, milk, peanuts, tree nuts, eggs and soy may be present. We implement strict cleaning strategies to prevent cross contamination, but cannot guarantee any product is allergen free as we use the same equipment to create all our products.

We do not recommend consuming any of our desserts if you are allergic to wheat, peanuts, tree nuts, milk, soy, or eggs.
